The clerks were super friendly, cheerful, and ready and willing to help. We go there for the English Muffin bread in the bakery. Our local Publix in Deltona doesn't make it so we always stop by the Deland Publix when driving by. Last night's visit was the best yet. We will continue to drive out of our way to shop there.
The deli needs a new Deli Manager. It is very poorly run. Staff is rude and wait times are ridiculous. This has been an ongoing issue since the new store opened. Something's gotta give!
What's it going to take to get my Boars Head ham sliced thin, this is getting ridiculous. At the outrageous price of $10.00 lb., (we get the privilege of paying higher prices for the same product in Florida), I would think I can get the ham sliced the way I would like it, not the way it looks good when they show me and I get home to find thick slices.
Don't Order subs online if you want them on time. I ordered 3 subs at 2:15 for pick up at 4:30. Got there at 4:35 and they were not ready so I asked the deli counter and she was the rudest person I've ever met, and I've never had a bad experience at Publix. She stated "Uhhh you can see how busy we are and we'll try to get to them as soon as we can, just walk around and come back later" I proceeded to inform a manager and the only thing I got from him was "Okay we'll see what you we can do" Seems like the staff at this Publix... read more
Publix is great. So helpful yesterday when I was out with 2 kids age 11 mos. and 5 yrs trying to shop for cinco de mayo!
Always good except for the lack of understanding of what Gluten Free is. Gluten free isle always has wheat bran or vital wheat gluten on the shelf. I feel like captain obvious when I point it out to the people that work there and look at me like "what?"
