The deli customer service here really needs improvement. You often have to wait while staff finish conversations or cleaning before anyone helps you, and it almost feels like you have to call out just to get served. The rest of the store is fine, but the deli department really brings the experience down. Portion requests also aren’t followed well. Clean, good service, and the associates are very respectful.
I really really want to love this Publix, specially because I live next-door to it and it’s convenient. That being said, when you go and get stuff at the deli… Particularly the fried chicken I know that they must change out the boxes or the dates. It’s happened so many times that I’ve had to take the chicken back that was literally cold, soggy, or literally a pool of grease in the bottom of the box… I did point it out to the manager and they agreed with me and got me some fresh chicken and said that they were going to work o... read more
