Publix doesn't allow split payment at self checkout. However, some card payments will allow for split payment. I believe Publix is prejudiced against people without all funds within a single card. Walmart allows this on every register. Instead they disgrace customers and send them to a register with a printed transfer receipt to see a cashier. Basically enlisting you to be judged and shamed all because you don't have all the funds for a single card.
The employees are always suspecting people of theft and even stand beside you as your checking out. They stare you down the moment you enter their establishment only for their own benefit. The deli doesn't care they make you wait for nothing and don't make sandwiches. The bakery is the exact same if not worse. I have absolute disgust for them as they do for me when I enter.
