This is the WORST store in the entire chain! Instacart forced me into using this store and most of my deliveries have been mostly unfulfilled because they are poorly stock. the prepared foods Iin the deli department are ALWAYS overcooked and the selection is limited and meager at best. I drive twelve miles away to get my favorite dishes and ice cream. Somehow it has never melted by the time Ii got home. DO NOT BOTHER ORDERING SUBS AHEAD OF TIME ONLINE. they are NEVER there at this location. I stood in line for 9 minutes while the only person at the sub counter had an entire conversation with the woman ahead of me (I literally know what she is doing for her birthday and how her mother is feeling). THEN the lady behind the counter had to go get meat from the deli. Then she had to replace the stickers in the printer. I gave up and left. I will never return to this awful Publix.
RecommendedThis store has the best Management and Associate Team. They always put their customers first, and cater to their needs. I am not keen on Management not carrying the store radios anymore and relying on their cellphones to communicate within the store. It’s a safety factor when it comes to safety, security, shoplifting.
I just bought a box of 20 hot and spicy Publix breaded chicken wings from the deli. First, the entire box was drumettes, not a wing in the box. They used to be half wings and half drumettes. Second, they are so overcooked they are dry. Finally, $11.99 is far too high a price to pay, especially considering the poor quality.
Worst experience everrrrr!! What is wrong with the deli area??? If you are looking for the worst deli ever, look no further!! We had a terrible experience a few years back and I had never been back. I decided to give it another shot thinking maybe they’ve straightened out some kinks. NOPE. I ordered two whole subs for the $5.99 special at 5:38pm online. We were given a pick up time of 6:10. We got to the store at 6:20. No subs in the pick up window. My husband had to catch one of the 10 employees behind the counter to ask about our order. Great place to shop for any fruits or salads or a drink of mango lemonade. For me it’s always a pleasure shopping at Publix.
I went today to buy a sheet cake and other items for my Aunt’s birthday party. Is it normal policy to have to go to the front and purchase the cake then show proof of purchase before they give you the cake? I had more shopping to do. That back and forth is not something I have ever had to do at MY publix. (This one just happened to be close to my Aunt’s house.) Perhaps they should look at this as it made me feel like they thought I was going shoplift an entire sheet care. I think I will stick to my Publix at Midway Plaza.
