My mom uses a mobile vet for her dogs. Obviously the mobile vet does not have access to prescriptions that she can carry around in her vehicle, so of course, when prescribing medication for the pets, she either writes a hard copy prescription or sends it electronically to whatever pharmacy you may want to pick it up from.
