A Cashier profiled me as a food stamp recipient and told me my food stamp card wouldn't cover the batteries that I was purchasing. I'm not sure where he even got the impression that I would even qualify for government assistance from. Very ignorant and silly. Also, the customers are not made to wear masks. I hate it there.
My wife ordered a cake. It was short notice, so my wife told the person on the phone to let us know if they couldn't get it done and we would call someone else. Picked up the cake and looked at the order form when I got home and noticed a hand written note that said "😞 Sorry. She said if not able to do it just call was very persistant. I tried not to!" I love everything about my Publix store especially the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who work here. Best store to shop at in my opinion.
This past Friday, just as I completed some merchandising work and was about to leave Publix in Meridianville, a HUGE ugly storm rolled in. It was raining so hard, one could barely see the cars in the parking lot, and the highway was invisible. As people began stalling at the exit door, Publix staff break out umbrellas and raincoats, and start organizing curb pick ups for those who didn't want their groceries taken to their car.
