I had to get a storage unit immediately one day and I went to a couple places. They were "ok" but overpriced for the sizes and sometimes poor customer service. I went online and picked out a unit at Public Storage in Soquel. I handled everything online, went by the location, and John the manager got my lock and keys right away. The manager, John, was great, helping us pick and sign up for renting several spaces. We were moving from another nearby storage place -- the customer service here is far better. The security seems better too, with tighter controls on the locks and the manager living onsite.

If you enjoy continually rising rates with no explanation, little to no customer service, and dealing with sketchy individuals every time you try to acces your unit..... then this is the place for you!

Worst experience ever. I had this storage unit in samta cruz for a year. They doubled my fee within that time. There was never staff available at this location. It cost me 160 dollars to get into my unit after my key was stolen. Coordinating having an outside party to get me in my unit was difficult because the staff wasn't there during office hours. When i.moved out of my unit they canceled my.reservation before i even confirmed my move out date. The day i moced out there was no cart available to move my belongings. There w... read more
