Ive had 3 different units here everyone of them have been broken into and ive lost a lot of valuable and non replaceable things do not rent here and if you are here get out the office will not work with you or the police and the compony that handles there insurance is the same way

I wish I could give zero stars. Security is a joke. One of our units was broken in to by someone climbing on top of the unit and cutting the chicken wire to come in through the top and unbolting the hasp from the inside . We were told there are no cameras in the building and the ones outside don't work. People tamper with the gate to keep it open. The management doesn't seem to care at all. Go somewhere else unless you don't mind your things being stolen.
We rented a large storage unit to hold our daughter's apartment contents for the summer. We accessed the unit today to move her out only to find that the ceiling fencing had been pried back, her belongings vandalized and items stolen. We notified the Lakewood PD and began an insurance claim. The Lakewood PD officer stated that they come to this Public Storage location frequently since the buildings are not locked at night (although a gate code is required to enter the property). Horrendous service - we'll need to find another place that doesn't treat their customers like crap! We are college educated, hardworking professionals with our own businesses and we're treated like we are idiotic teenagers that are not responsible. Fascinating how bad this site and probably PS is in general.
Horrible! I dealt with the district manager Larry Johnson who is a complete idiot. He was so senseless i dropped the call because he was so unprofessional and dumb..lol too much to write but take the other reviews to heart this location they are shysters. I have lived in many different states and have dealt with many other storage companies and never dealt with Carmen and some other other no good employees like this place. Very BAD business!!! Purchased several hundred dollars worth of packing materials in late February...was told we could return ANYTHING we didn't use. Tried brining back 3 rolls of bubbles and 22 huge bags of packing peanuts. Was told it was more than 30 days since purchased and they will not take the items back!! They are as they were the day they were purchased...unopened and unused!!! Will NEVER recommend PS for anything!

YOUR NEW MANAGER ON THE 84TH STORE IS AN ASSHOLE AND IVE PAID ON TIME EVERY MONTH AND YOU RAISE MY RENT BY 40 DOLLARS WILL BE TAKING MY BUISENESS ELSE WHERE YOU ARE GREEDY
