I rented a climate controlled space for 3 months. My items were covered in rat feces and all my stuff has a stench of mothballs and mildew. I had movers come help me move out and one turned to me and said “you said this stuff was only here for three months? I’ve been doing this work for a decade and I’d guess this stuff has been sitting here for over a year with the film of dust and dirt covering everything.” Disgusting! Do not leave your stuff here.
