Public House Kitchen & Brewery worked well for an afternoon meal and a couple of drinks. I tried the fish and chips, and the fish had a crisp coating with a flaky center. The fries were hot and had a good texture, though they could have used a little more seasoning. We also shared the pretzel with beer cheese, which was a nice addition to the table. The brewery setting had a lively feel without being too loud, and the service was attentive.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. It's located in Old Town Manassas so it has a historic touch. The restaurant has a variety of seating options, including outdoor seating options in front of the restaurant. Our server was nice and very patient as we contemplated on what to get. We were unfamiliar with the area and we’re just looking for restaurants close by where we were and found this place. When we pulled up, everything looks so cute really nice layout and we sat outside. The waitress was fantastic and every recommendation she gave us was spot on. I got the muscles with jalape�o and bacon and I was a little concerned. It would be too spicy, but it was so good. Glad I tried this place! This may honestly be one of the best club sandwiches I have ever eaten — and at over 300 lbs, I’ve had enough club sandwiches in my lifetime to make a pretty fair comparison! What impressed me most was the quality of the ingredients. This wasn’t just inexpensive, high-water-content deli meat. The turkey tasted more like freshly sliced roasted turkey, the ham was excellent, the tomatoes were ripe and flavorful, and everything was served on a wonderful house-made marble rye. Food was absolutely delicious. The kitchen makes a vast majority of their food in-house. Great food and customer service, I will definitely come back again.
