Superbe moules marinière et frites !! A bit crowded into a small table almost in kitchen, but we didn't have reservations and were seated immediately on an early Saturday eve. Next time we'll sample the wide variety of oysters from all over !
Great oysters. Everything is really fresh. Grits are out of this world. The basil sorbet is mind blowing and the beignets with coffee cream inside is decadent but they should serve it with chocolate sauce and not with blueberry sauce. I can't wait to just sit at the bar and eat oysters with a Chablis.
Great dinner for us during a busy time. Everyone worked very hard from hostess to bar. Will be back especially for the Katamas. Thanks for bringing this to Cville folks.
Had the Moules Frites Provencal as my main course. Wife and I shared a plate of oysters, which then turned in to two plates of oysters. Everything was absolutely excellent.
Wonderful! The best place to go for seafood in town. We had a delightful meal of the most delicious shellfish ever! Charlottesville needed this place.
It's about time Cville had a good little seafood pub with real Chesapeake oysters, clams, rockfish and yep, real shad roe with bacon! Servers, bartenders were real friendly and knew their food. Owner made the rounds and welcomed us all. It was well worth the visit and we'll sure be back. Maybe tomorrow! The oysters were that good!
