Our family, like many, were in town for "ISU Family weekend" our daughter now an alum & our son a junior. So to say we have been frequent customers would be spot on & have always enjoyed our memories @ the Pub until this past Sat. We waited in line like many, & we're lucky to get half a table...especially since there were 6 of us. Best bar in town! Best bar in town! Beast bar in town!
This is one of the best affordable dive bars that I have been to. We were in town for an event at Illinois State and tried the place for lunch. It was so good that I brought friends back later in the week. Good service, good food, big portions and the cheapest prices I have ever seen. I will definitely be back.
Great bar tenders and awsome service and theyr food is delish!! Specially the cheeseballs!!
Our burgers were cold when we got them. We told the waitress, but she still charged us full price. A fully disappointing experience.
Usually I love the pub. But tonight I went with a friend who is not 21 for dinner and to watch the Hawks game. The bouncers would not let my friend and I in, and were very rude and disrespectful to us. I explained that we were not planning on staying late and that I had been to the pub before, when I was not 21 and was allowed in. However they would not budge and turned us away. We came about 5 hours for the playoff game today. After half time we decided to go to a bar and Grill to finish watching the game and get some food. We got a drink at the bar right away but when we find a empty table we sat there for about a hour without getting asked anything and tables around us were getting helped right and left. My friend finally asked for a menu and we go those but the waiter never came back. Worst service ever!
