During my experience in the program I am more informed of the affects that alcohol can have on decision making which can in turn have severe ramifications on myself and possibly others. It can cause you to make decisions that you would not make in a sound sober state of mind. I have a much better understanding of the legal ramifications of drinking and driving also. Things such as losing my privilege to drive, the financial strain this can cause and the impact on others such as someone being severely hurt or even losing thei... read more

From the beginning of the course, I was already in the mindset that I had made a bad decision. In the ReDIC Level I class it broke down the science and history of how alcohol came about. It has been around for ages and is a unique fermentation process to produce. Also I have learned the effects it has on the body. How you may feel like you are in good condition but in actuality you ... read more

Psychoeducation was a very well made and beneficial course! From the way alcohol went from a accidental find to on the shelves of every home and store. This course showed me the different studies for drinkers and non drinkers and how it affects our health on the day to day. They taught me in a very sometimes heart wrenching story from the victims of drunk driving accidents to the pain it caused the driver and how it significantly changed their life! The presentation and way of teaching was engaging and informative! Things I al... read more
