Dr. Knott doesn’t take compliments very well! I’ve been diagnosed bipolar since 1991; my first hospitalization was for NINE MONTHS, and I’ve had “six” hospitalizations since that time at a minimum of 3-weeks. Diagnosed Brittle Bipolar I Have NOT been hospitalized since I first started seeing Dr. Knott in 2017! She makes me feel respected and heard, and she instills great confidence in myself. I am perplexed with all the low and or negative reviews on Dr. Knott, I met her several years ago as she was assigned to my case through the workers comp company I have a claim with. She is professional, easy to talk with, if I need a prescription and or release letter she is on top of it as well as my overall care. She is A+ in my book and would recommend her in a heart beat. Finding a good mental health provider is difficult. Dr. Knott made the process for me easy.
"If you need anything, just let me know." That is a lie Dr. Knott told me. If she or her office gets back to you, that's rare. If you need paperwork filled out from her, it won't happen. If you have other options, they'll probably be more reliable, take them.
She is so wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable. She really cares about her patients and truly helps us. I am so glad I found her.
I was a little frustrated when I was initially trying to become a patient at this facility, but I think all mental health providers are currently overwhelmed to a degree like we haven’t seen before and therefore becoming a new patient anywhere is almost impossible. Dr. Knott is absolutely phenomenal! I can’t recommend her enough. She has been a tremendous help in my recovery which has been a long and arduous process (and continues to be.) I simply cannot recommend her enough!
