I want to write a review specifically for the TMS area of PMA. First of all, the TMS treatment changed my life. I have had very treatment resistant depression for a majority of my adult life and I had lost a lot of hope that anything could even lessen the severity of my symptoms but this WORKED. I was doing it in conjunction with medication management (with Charles Meredith) for many months. Dr. Megan Gary is a wonderful psychiatrist. Before her, I saw Dr Adams (he was also fantastic, btw). After Dr Adams retired, I was switched to Dr Megan Gary, and I feel like I owe her my life based on how good her treatment is. Think of everything you'd want in a psychiatrist-- Dr. Megan Gary has it. Deeply unkind and, frankly, dim-witted. Dr. Megan Gary told me I was a ‘drug addict’ for trying to stabilize my mental health. Which I found rich coming from a psychiatrist, whose profession would not exist without the use of drugs. She did not listen to me. She did not empathize with me. But she did criticize me!
