I have been a patient at this practice for over 5 years. While Dr. Robertson was initially helpful in providing a diagnosis, the staff are deliberately unhelpful in providing support services. Every year when a prior authorization is required for my prescription, the staff refuses to make the call to my insurance carrier in a timely fashion. Dr. Robertson is a fine psychiatrist but, once you are established as a patient, you hardly ever see him at your visits. You are stuck with nurse practitioners who aren't qualified to treat mental illnesses. I was a patient for approximately 5 years and only saw Dr. R three times. I was prescribed medication that, when I did my own research, was highly discouraged for use with my illness and made me suicidal. Robertson himself is wonderful but his nurse practitioner who you get stuck with after being established are not so great.
