They told my fiance that she wouldn't be able to see her psychiatrist anymore because she missed just *two* appointments, six months apart. You would think that a supposed mental health facility would understand that severe anxiety and depression can keep someone from making it to their appointments. Honestly, I consider just missing two, one in April and one in October, to be a pretty dang stellar record for someone suffering from her level of anxiety. I went to this office to see a psychiatrist but when I arrived I was seen by a nurse practitioner. After seeing 1st hand just how bad my anxiety is and seeing me break down in tears and snap. She did not even send the prescriptions she said she was going to put me on to the pharmacy. I'm sorry but mrs nurse practitioner you are not trained in psychiatry enough to treat patients. Disheartening and undependable. Having received high quality counseling and medical therapy from the Cleveland, OH, branch of PsychBC for the previous two years, I naturally decided to continue my progress at this branch upon moving to Cincinnati, OH, previously this year. I went here about 3 years ago when it was Bridgepoint. When I went in for my first appointment that I scheduled weeks beforehand, they told me they had no record of me in their system, even though I got an appointment confirmation call from them. The receptionist had me fill out new patient paperwork while I was there. I handed her the completed forms, and I watched her read through my symptoms (which is HIGHLY against HIPAA). She then told me that they couldn't help me anyway because "we don't deal with depressed people". I... read more
