What happened to my friend at this salon was absolutely deplorable. She went in for a waxing service, only to be told halfway through that the technician “couldn’t work with her hair type.” My friend is a Black woman, and there is absolutely no excuse for refusing service based on something as natural as her hair texture. This kind of behavior is discriminatory, unprofessional, and humiliating. It’s racist, plain and simple. Emily is so good. My fingers are a bit crooked but she did the extensions so well so my fingers look straigjt. She did a great design so quickly -- better than what I wanted. She noticed my thin nails and applied minimal glue and was never harsh. Also so friendly! My favorite nail salon!
First of all this place overbooks clients and none of them know what the other is doing. I booked my appointment for 430 and as I am getting my toes done six women came in right after each other for appointments and there was only four women working. When I was getting my nails done I wanted a full set acrylic with tips. Well because they overbooked they didn’t ask me what I wanted when I walked in because I had said what I wanted on the phone.
