My father was under Pruitt Hospice care for over two months. While things appeared good at first, our overall experience was deeply disappointing due to a lack of compassion and respect for patient autonomy. My father was repeatedly labeled as “grumpy,” “angry,” or “defiant” simply because he was hesitant to take medications early on, when he was not in pain and did not feel they were necessary. I cannot sing praise enough to Pruitt Health hospice for the care they provided to my Nana over the last week. I wouldn’t have had any other team to care for my own loved one in her last days. We are forever thankful and grateful for this amazing team of compassionate and caring people! 🩹
