I lived here for two and a half years, and although my experience was good overall, it really depended on who the staff were at the time. In comparison to other Gillespie properties, this one seems more fairly priced but that also comes with no amenities and less maintenance. Cons: For the first almost two years, our building's door did not lock. They would try to fix it every few months, but then it would stop working. The apartment is nice, very spacious. However, for the price most tenants pay. There should be at least one pool or a gym for amenities. A dog park is NOT an amenity, thats for animals. Also, renovations and completing maintenance request should be a priority. Again, the apartment is nice but there should be more security at night to ensure tenants are safe. There is a shelter down the street and I've seen a few individuals roam around. Specifically, digging in the granger garbage can or hiding behind it. Be aware! Be alert!
Terrible experience living here. The train comes multiple times a day, was told it came a few times a week. The rent has an extra card fee of $40 every time you pay. So it’s really $750 not $710 wish I knew that. Homeless people everywhere. Takes 3 days or more to even hear from the leasing office. Our carbon monoxide alarm has been going off for three days. We have called the office for three days no responses nothing. The showers wouldn’t get warm for the first 4 months we were living there. There’s not enough parking also... read more
