Service is good but they do not have good shipping options for when you need a part on short order. I wasted $60 because USPS was delayed in delivery and Prowheelbuilder didn’t offer UPS or FedEx shipping options for my order.
I've built several wheelsets, including using supplies and the calculator on their site, but the last build has been infuriating. The calculator was wrong for 75% of the spoke lengths on my 27.5 wheels using quality US made hubs and rims and verifying actual dimensions to those in the calculator. To make matters worse, I'm not sure that they shipped me genuine DT Swiss spokes as they are not stamped DT, nor do they have any DT packaging like those bought from a bike shop that buys from an authorized vendor. I cannot speak to service, but I ordered parts and a couple weeks after the order I realized I hadn’t heard anything. I reached out and they said they didn’t have one item in stock so they had to order it - they never communicated that so I could decide if I wanted to wait or order from someone else. 2 more weeks pass and I have heard nothing, I reach out and they said they would be receiving the order soon and turn it around.
