Ordered a BLT (no tomato) to go from Provisions today. Turns out I accidentally ordered a $12 lettuce sandwich. When I got home and opened it up, there was literally one strip of bacon split in half and a tiny scrap piece hidden under a mountain of greens. I know food prices have gone up, but charging almost twelve bucks for one strip of bacon and a handful of lettuce is ridiculous.
I have been coming to this restaurant for 2 years now, it used to be my favorite place in Waxhaw and would bring all of my out of town guests to eat here. Unfortunately I overheard a conversation today between my father in law and the owner that really unsettled me and upon reading reviews I see many other customers have gotten similar treatment from the owner(s). Waste of money. Waited over 20 minutes for 2 breakfast items. Paid $7 for a ham and egg sandwich, there was more than double the bread than actual ingredients inside. Wouldn’t fill up a toddler. Burrito special was flavorless. Plenty of better breakfast options in downtown waxhaw, avoid!
Came in for breakfast and coffees. Excellent food for a great price. Service was inviting and friendly. Quiet atmosphere can get busy at times but they keep the line moving. A lot of quality and local items available for purchase as well.
So affordable and good. The burrito is on the affordable side and absolutely filling and delicious. The pancakes taste fresh, moist, and to perfection. I recommend for get together or a family breakfast. So good.
