We moved our mother almost three years ago from another assisted living facility that was rapidly declining. We were so relieved to find the caring, compassionate staff at Provision Living in East Lansing. She passed on April 11th surrounded by her family. The staff at Provision Living went above and beyond to keep us and our mother comfortable. She had a very positive experience at Provision and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Please do your research. The facility and nurses can be found on the LARA website. Don’t be fooled by facility amenities. They are understaffed, lack compassion, appropriate training, communication and empathy. Management will gaslight and promise changes with zero efforts made but will continue to provide reasons to justify poor care. Many positive reviews are left by current or former employees. This was a very expensive lesson. My experience nearly mirrors George’s review below. Patient care is not a priority.

I looked at Provisions for a home for my partner who has Parkinson’s and Dementia. Patrick assured me that they could take great care of him in assisted living care. I questioned perhaps he should be in memory care. During our interview the director Wendy stopped to introduce herself and said that assisted living would be just fine for him. After 3 months and 5 UTI infections. With 3 trips to the hospital things only got worse. I would visit every morning for breakfast and for dinner. Patrick is excellent. Very straightforward forward and professional. This is a well run organization and the residents I met seemed happy. There are a lot of activities available, and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing.

I was very impressed with Patrick's helpfulness and readiness to provide the needed information. The staff seemed very friendly as well. And the facility itself seems well designed and well maintained.
