Honestly, I do not prefer to go here. It really depends who the attending is. In the future I will always ask how long the wait might be . I always show up they say their busy, and it doesn't seem like it. And you usually are waiting for 3 to 6 hours. This has been my experience a lot lately. Yesterday I waited 4 hours to be told nothing and the doctor was actually the worst I have ever experienced. The wait was to long, 3 hours to go back. This place is awful. The Dr didn’t follow through with labs. They gave a prescription for an infection but didn’t bother to send the sample to be tested so the antibiotics didn’t work. A week later the infection was much worse so we go back and get to be treated badly again. And they are extremely rude…Drive into Spokane if you can.

I brought my mom to the ER at Providence st Joseph in Chewelah this morning and what a breath of fresh air. We were taken back to a room within minutes and assisted by extremely caring and competent nurses, tech’s and Dr Moore who was just as fabulous. We will definitely go here again instead of driving to Spokane and waiting 4+ hours in the ER waiting room before being taken back to a room and then treated.
