Although this is my opinion I feel as if the HOA in summertree is a joke. It seems as if we pay all this money for nothing in return. Theres no hoa board, nobody following up with us and we have no say in anything. We’re literally handing over free money to someone to do what feels like absolutely nothing in return. I live in Summer Tree and have spent the best part of 2024 dealing with over grown weeds and brush. I have an open lot next to my home and. Had to cut it and it requires a brush hog. No lights on the entranceways. This builder blames it on the prior HOA but at some point, the bs has to stop. I love living in SummerTree. I am disappointed with the lack of services from Providence once they took over the HOA 6 months ago. It’s been 6 months of poorly maintained common areas, lack of mowing of empty lots including the space where there is a fire hydrant, (you can barely see it if you didn’t know it was there, what if there is a fire?) and just lack of respect for the neighborhood.
I live in Summer Tree Estates in Crown Point, Indiana and Providence recently took over ownership of our HOA. Ownership was transferred from another builder to Providence and the transition took about 5 months. During much of that time most of the things we pay HOA dues for weren’t addressed.
