i have been renting for about 10 years, only 2 years with providence but i’ve lived all up and down Louisiana and i lived in Texas. granted, upon moving in, the house was not clean but it wasn’t a big deal to me because after renting for 8 years at that point i tend to do my own cleaning before the full move-in anyway. the maintenance men are very nice, and apologized over and over again for the state of the house when we moved in. seem like good guys. the office staff is very nice, special shout out to Hannah and Nicky. any... read more
Posting here because I’ve already posted a review regarding my issue, and they’ve absolutely refused to give me satisfactory arrangements regarding my issue. I moved into a unit that was absolutely filthy and was ridden with dog urine, dog hair, and dander. Upon cleaning it and moving in, I broke out with hives and had to seek medical attention because of it. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING!!! I would like to preface my review by saying I don’t think Providence is like this in general, but it’s clear by my own experience as well as other reviews here that they do have a problem with letting genuine issues get mismanaged and overlooked. The unit that I rented on March 3rd came available on February 28th.
