My step father and mother came in very ill. My mother is in a coma. Likely dying. I told the ER nurse my stepfather had the same symptoms and that me and me son had recently had strep. The nurses tested xyz. No strep test. Sent the grieving man in pain home. My mom was diagnosed with strep A. Said that this can cause intense GI upset and sometimes not present normally with a sore throat. They are refusing to give him antibiotics without being seen again in the hospital. MD Brian Bao administered my elderly mother narcan, which has caused lingering term deficits. My mother was awake. She stood up and transferred from a wheelchair to the bed. She was telling me to take a Pic of an outfit she wanted me to order for her(see pic). The nurses asked "still give it to her?" And he sneakily shook his head yes. Obviously Everyone knows being in the Emergency Department isn’t by any means fast. But they should really make sure it is clean and sanitary! Blood dried on the floor, outlets need replacing, let’s make sure we can wash and dry our hands and for god sakes let’s clean up the dead bugs!
