1 Star Seeking emergency care at Providence Milwaukie Hospital for an acute psychiatric crisis was a deeply distressing experience. I presented with severe, debilitating anxiety requiring urgent medical assistance. When I was seen by Dr. Case, my symptoms were met with complete inaction. Instead of conducting a thorough evaluation or providing treatment to manage the crisis, Dr. Case offered no meaningful medical intervention or care plan.I left without receiving help and had to seek care elsewhere. I was going anaphylactic from an allergic reaction and sat in the waiting room for a good hour or 2 before being pulled back to a small closet of a room. My rash and pain had become extreme by this point. My face had swelled, along with every inch of my neck and body. No doctor or nurse gave me a gown or even looked under my clothes to see the severity of the situation. No IV either. Do NOT go here if you'd like yo live a long life. They will leave you in the waiting room and not give a care about it. And very rude doctors! They almost killed my husband- again! Terrible staff, terrible hospital
