Editing again because the clinical notes are finally posted. I must have been in a different room when we had our discussion. There are things in the clinical notes that we never discussed and one big diagnosis that is blatantly false. I'll be calling them first thing this am to have that removed. I received a referral from my pcp on 1/30. On 2/11, I got a letter that said my referral had been approved and I should call for an appt. When I called, they told me that my referral had only been received and would require a review. The review takes 6-8 weeks and then they’ll call me for an appt. Approx 2 months from that. Don’t waste your time. I’d love to be able to say they helped me, but that’s not the case.
My insurance called and verified they do take my insurance, and they have availability. I called my doctor to find out they had denied my referral a week prior, stating they arent taking new patients. After waiting on the phone, they told me that they told my insurance they were accepting new patients in error. This place is clearly disorganized and in disarray.
Revised 2025 - Almost everything I complained about has been addressed. Not sure if they hired new employees or did some kind of training, but I've had no further issues with scheduling and communications. I complained about the abrupt endocrinologist switch. It was especially jarring given my medical situation at the time. Realistically, that's not really their fault. People quit or transfer.
