Contrary to other reviewers, I have had a perfectly fine experience here seeing Julia Kelly. I have found her to be pleasant and thorough. (This has been for standard type 1 diabetes management, not for anything out of the ordinary). Update as of 2025: Have been seeing Dr. Akmal for a couple years now -- also without any complaints -- other than sometimes slow response to refill and authorization requests, which I'm told is due to staffing shortages. That I blame on Providence, not the Dr. or Chris, her wonderful nurse.
So appreciate Dr Akmal and her nurse Chris.They make a great team and both are so kind and caring! The staff at the front desk are so nice too. Don't get the bad reviews as I have had nothing but good care. Thank you Dr Akmal and Chris!
Have had more bad experiences than good ones here. I’d recommend looking somewhere else. From forgetting to fax papers to forcing me to have pointless appointments that are 5 min with no help and charging me $300, this is not somewhere where I feel like they genuinely care about me or my health
