I saw Dr. Bertsche for a few visits in 2024 after being diagnosed with a brain clot. From the outset, she downplayed my (very serious) diagnosis. She told me to "just stop being anxious," rushed through my questions and gave me very little comfort or useful information about my condition. When I came to her with new pain or symptoms, she told me to just put ice on my head and see a therapist. I saw her three times and this was the theme of each visit. I was left on a waiting list until I moved away
They cancelled my appointment that took me a year to get that was suppose to be 8 hours long of testing without even notifying me. I took off a whole day of work and she basically laughed at me on the phone for being upset. So unprofessional and disrespectful. This is why people have such a hard time getting help. Be more kind and respectful.
