We had an amazing experience at the hospital during delivery and postpartum care which makes this situation even more disappointing. A few days after our baby was born we met with a lactation consultant, Kim I believe. Unfortunately the appointment was not very helpful. Many of the questions we asked could not be answered directly and she often had to look things up on a computer or ask someone else in the office despite having over 10 years of experience.
