I saw Dr. Kafi prior to Covid. He was very personable as was his assistant and his office staff. I recently returned for some minor issues. He remembered me and greeted me warmly. His staff was still personable as before. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I am going to refute a former review about Dr. Kafi fat-shaming. I weigh more than my ideal. He never said anything to me about weighing more than I probably should. He answered several skin care questions I had. He and his assistant explained after car... read more
DR. ZHU This review is specifically for Dr. Zhu- I give Dr. Zhu, his MA and the reception 5 stars because I have no reason not to. I showed up for my appointment just a few minutes early and checked in with no problem. I sat down and waited for maybe two or three minutes and my name was called. The medical assistant, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, was very pleasant, thorough and to the point. Within just a couple of minutes, Dr. Zhu came into the exam room, and he had already taken a look at my chart. He was personable... read more
Saw Dr. Zhu. Was in the appointment for maybe 7 minutes total and was initially prescribed the only medication I am allergic too (guess he didn't review my chart beforehand) and then seemed flustered after I said I was allergic to it and it was listed on my chart. He seemed extremely nervous the entire time and rushed, got told that a hormonal issue I had been dealing with for the past 4 months wasn't why I was experiencing the symptoms I had and he recommended more products I have already tried and didn't work (also listed ... read more
Dr. Coffee was in for 3 minutes and didn't explain the abcde of skin cancer or why it didn't pertain to me. He said to come back if it was growing, bleeding, or itching but didn't measure to know if there was growth.
Dr. Kafi is a fantastic doctor, very good communicator, very clearly explains medical terms, very comforting presence. I found the desk staff to be helpful and considerate, especially when taking messages down. However, for me, the clinic was not transparent at the level a layperson requires about which procedures are considered cosmetic and which aren't. A 30s removal of a milia from my face resulted in a surprise $400 bill 3 months later, and I was met with a lot of hostility when I called around asking how this was possib... read more
