Got around bill 4K for having a bandage put on my finger. I went to an urgent care first and they told me go to the ER since you have “insurance”.. what a failure of a medical system. Even with insurance I have to pay $700 for a bandage and 15 min max of time on front on medical personnel. If I knew this was going to be the cost, I would have never gone in the first place, and of course they don’t give you a price upfront. This whole system is broken.
