I had a great experience with Aaron at Providence Genetics. Even though genetics wasn’t able to provide the answers I was looking for, Aaron went out of his way to steer me in the direction of someone who possibly could. He was incredibly patient, understanding, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Due to the high volume of referrals and newly implemented staffing shortages in the Genetics clinic, they are unable to accomodate every patient referred to their clinic. This was provided a few months after the referral. Good luck to anyone trying to get in! Take your referral and head somewhere else.

My son has been waiting a YEAR for an appointment. Monday he was suppose to be seen in a virtual call and they just called him (Friday) to cancel it. They won't reschedule because they dont know when they can get him in. A YEAR!!! He is suspected of having Marafan syndrome but we need a diagnosis to start preventative medication. In the meantime he is having collapsed lungs. Would give more , buuuut I feel like the wait time to be seen is a bit ridiculous. Plus I feel at if the Dr said she would do more for me then she actually has. I was told if I had/have problems with my other Drs or just shifty care in general to call her and she would tend to it for me... weellll I have and NOTHING gets done. I do feel that all the staff means well and want to help as much as they say they do/will, I just don't think they can.
