Seven years of going to Providence clinic on Pines in Spokane Valley (out of convenience) and four providers later, I QUIT. The Doctor's revolving door make's it impossible to establish a relationship with anyone who cares. No kindness, no respect, ever.... The last Dr. I encountered (one time) was Dr. Del la Garza OD. who needs to attend charm school and bedside manner classes, she never introduced herself to me by name or mentioned my name once during my visit. I used to really enjoy going here and seeing the providers. The last couple years though have not been good. Constant cancelations morning of from them, never the same provider twice, they don't establish a primary doctor, and the particular receptionists are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered.
Sad to hear Ashley Smith is leaving. This Doctor saved my life from a mental health disorder after seeing numerous doctors. I had a hard time finding one to establish care with that really seemed to want to help until I found Dr Smith. Just an incredible individual. I’ve dealt with many doctors and nurses and felt so hopeless about the medical community until I met her. This clinic (the whole branch of Providence clinics) is negligent. I would run out of fingers and toes before I could count to how many times these "doctors" have missed CRITICAL information on my charts that I am CONSTANTLY reminding them of. They don't care about you- this is just another punch in, punch out situation. And if you're sick- forget it, they won't want to see you or treat you... your only option is urgent care or the ER.
