I was bitten by a cat day before yesterday. I woke with my hand double the normal size. I looked up Providence Urgent Care online and was surprised to find there was one in Walgreens. When I arrived the medical assistant said they were full for the day: then asked why I needed to be seen. When I said “cat bite”, the physician’s assistant came out and looked at my hand; told me to wait, then they both came out and told me that they could see me NOW. Was not feeling well fever cough wheezing. Saw the doctor recieved perscriptions, In and out in 45 min. Kind compassionate staff.
Kevin, the nurse or doctor, whoever's looked at me, may have saved my life! He thought my issue needs ER attention immediately. And he was right. Thanks again.
