I've been going to the High Risk Clinic since 9 weeks pregnant when we found out I am pregnant with twins. Not every nurse is the same, there are some that are definitely better than others. I've seen most of the doctors in the clinic, yes, that first appointment put me on edge, going over worse case scenarios of the type of twins I have. I accidentally went to this clinic for my 20 week anatomy scan instead of Holy Family where I was supposed to go because of a glitch in the system telling me to go to the wrong location, but they still squeezed me in anyway. I was lucky they had availability a little later in the day, and I know these things are generally out of their realm of control, but it was really cool of them to offer to do my ultrasound there once I realized my mistake. I would never recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. The bedside manner of Dr. Mezei and Dr. Barber is horrendous. If anything, Dr. Miller was the only physician that was not coming into the room and making everything doom and gloom. I had to ask to not see Dr. Mezei and I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing Dr. Barber for my last visit. I had my 20 week biophysical ultrasound here. They require that patients check in 15 minutes before appointment time. I appreciated that the clinic was not running late and my appointment started on time. From the front desk personnel to the doctor (Dr. Mezei), everyone was kind and courteous to my husband and I. The highlight of our visit was our Sonographer Cherae. She is knowledgeable, kind, warm, and explained everything she was seeing as she was scanning my fetus.
