I hope that I had read the review about the billing. Their billing was not transparent and doubled/trippled to what I was told when inquiring about the cost range before the therapy. If you already meet your deductable maximum, it is OK to get PT here. If not, see elsewhere. They charged $400-$500 for 45 minutes session, after insurance adjustment. Also, for the back to back PT session (very similar treatment), one therapist charged $150 more than the other.
It's been a few years since I walked out of this facility and didn't return. I still remember what my pt told me. "If you don't adjust your expectations you'll be miserable the rest of your life." I was supposed to accept my life required daily physio to even feel normal and pain would be my constant. Luckily I found a better doctor who listened to my history. Edit: Further analysis of the cost in my EOB, I found that Providence has very little discount to my private insurance (UHC) . Another facility near-by only cost me less than $30, even for the very first long session. Consumers beware!!!! Nice facility and close to home. Being there for 3 incidents with progressive "expensive charging". The 1st time is reasonable and the 2nd time was about $800 out of pocket (deductible). Nice facility and close to home. Being there for 3 incidents with progressive "expensive charging". The 1st time is reasonable and the 2nd time was about $800 out of pocket (deductible). So I was very careful on the 3rd time: try to reduce the number of visits to save cost. Yet, I was even more shocked when I got bill (about $500/visit). Be careful not to chat with the therapist.
