I had the privilege of being able to have Providence Benedictine Home Health as my caretakers for 6 months last year. They saw me through the worst of times and they got me to a really great place in life to be able to get back to work. I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me but the ladies did a wonderful job. NONE of the home health practitioners this agency has ever sent into our home has ever washed their hands after entering the home in accordance with CDC recommendations. Hand washing is important to help prevent the spread of infection. The state of Oregon, Medicare, & The Joint Commission REQUIRE hand hygiene at each home visit. Elderly, home-bound, Immuno-compromised clients are especially vulnerable to infection. We could not have asked for a better home health care experience! The entire team was responsive, informative, caring and compassionate. They guided us through a difficult situation with insight, kindness and grace, and we greatly benefited from both their experience and their expertise.
