They're a Production home builder, so I guess it is expected that they will cut some corners and lack quality in certain areas, as their goal is to produce as many homes as they can. The building process went pretty smoothly, although there were several times I'd go out on the weekends and have to point out to the construction manager that they did something wrong or completely omitted a feature I paid more for - one example was they forgot to build the wall I paid for separating my kitchen and laundry room. This company lacks in communication and their employees that build homes do very poor quality and craftsmanship. Please research for other builders that better communication and also one that actually cares about their customers. Homes are very expensive and if they don’t care to help you out and rectify mistakes that they did and found after walk thru trust me look elsewhere.
Our experience with Providence has been nothing short of wonderful. We felt informed and involved throughout the building process. The fit and finish of our home was exactly how we envisioned! A couple of minor warranty items were addressed and promptly corrected. Couldn't be happier with our new home in Crown Point!
I had a great experience from the time I met with Providence's sales team until the time I moved in. The sales team made sure I had everything I needed and also ensured I had a good understanding of the Providence home building/buying process. Don’t buy concrete driveways from this builder. My concrete is chipping away and just made two years the end of May. Also other people in my subdivision having the same problem who upgraded to concrete the sidewalks are also doing it. They are scams!!!They also do not respond when you have a problem!!
