Food was very good as well as the service. Unfortunately the noise level inside is quite high even when the restaurant is less than half full. The ceiling could definitely use some sound dampening.
You walk thru the door and see cookbooks that still hold meaning to this day,. They use these philosophies and ideas and flavor combinations to create amazing food and cocktails. I have been in this industry a long time, this place will blow you away if you have any true appreciation for food, flavors, textures, and attention to detail. Yes it costs money but it is worth it. After you get sick of over priced lobster rolls, give this place a go.
The best food we have had in a long time! My husband is a chef and he was blown away. We had the mussels in a delicious savory sauce, pork belly with fresh peaches, plums and candied nuts, the halibut entree, pork chop and burger. All were top 5 in our experience of each entree. So worth it. Make a reservation because Ellsworth may seem like a sleepy town but the restaurant gets packed!!
Kept seeing so many Facebook posts about how good this place was and kept not making it out. Met up with a friend and had an EPIC experience! Food was crazy good. Cocktail was perfect. Service was friendly and professional. Will be visiting again.
