One of the best meals we have ever had. We went for my birthday dinner. I had the 8oz Filet. Melt in your mouth and perfectly seasoned My husband had the Rigatoni with a pesto sauce. We will definitely be back!
We eat a lot of steak prepared many ways and I've got to say this was one of the best steaks I've ever had and the potatoes were amazing. Usually potatoes are a filler that you don't want to "load-up" on , but there wasn't any left. Great bar too that makes a proper old fashion. Originally from California, moved to Texas and then discovered one of the best steaks in a lovely town in Illinois. A++
My husband and I Travel to eat at Proud Richard’s this evening. I drove over an hour from work excited to try it for the first time. We Arrived before 7 pm. There was a couple ahead of us that were seated. The hostess stood back behind the bar, talking to another coworker, staring at us, oddly as we waited. About 5 minutes goes by and she rudely comes up to us and says “What do you want?” Dumbfound I said we’d like to have a seat for 2? She says well it’ll be 30 minutes frowning at us. Amazing! All around!! The salmon was to die for perfectly cooked! Everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly!
Went on a night that hamburgers were on special. Really good food and service. Will be back.
