This place was amazing - not only the technology but the qualified and caring staff - techs, nurses, doctors, everyone. I appreciated that they posted info on whether or not the gantry was running ahead of schedule or behind on the web, so I would know when to arrive. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May of 2024. As with most people, his first reaction was to have the cancer removed. I was diagnosed with an inoperable benign brain tumor in late 2024 and was lucky to have found UFHPTI. My doctor and team took very good care of me during my entire proton therapy treatment process. All staff were polite and caring. Highly recommend and have referred friends and family if the need ever arises.
I was totally surprised 3 years ago when diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. As difficult as it was coming to terms with the news was understanding my treatment options. After visits with multiple doctors and hospitals to discuss options, I usually felt like something was missing. Fortunately, I learned about UFPTI and met with the care team there. Several years later I can still say it was the best decision I made and one which helped me get on a clear path to recovery. Thank you UFPTI.
