This place is horrible! I had heard positive things about the doctor, but my experience with the reception staff was so negative that it completely changed my impression of the clinic. The receptionists were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I was shocked by their lack of competence and the way they treated someone simply trying to book an appointment. It’s unfortunate that a doctor’s reputation can be undermined by such poor front-office service.
To this day, I still do not know why my consultation was cancelled on the day of the appointment after a long wait and holding that date on my calendar. I understand that not every patient is a suitable candidate and that clinics have policies regarding who they can and cannot see. My issue was never with being told no. My issue was that I waited a long time for a consultation, only to have it cancelled on the day of the appointment with no explanation. When I called, I was polite, upset, and looking for answers. I wish I was able to keep up the 4 star reviews but unfortunately I am not. A little backstory. I have been suffering from a prolapse for about a year now. Not only does it negatively impact my day to day life but it also impacts my mental health to the point where I have tried to end my life. I have had appointment after appointment with my family physician and have been referred to multiple specialists. Every appointment is the same. Absolutely could not have been referred to a better doctor. Dr. Murphy Absolutely gave me a new quality of life. I cannot thank him enough for his excellent top notch surgery on me. Totally grateful and feel blessed. He is the best!
