It's been about five weeks since i had my Brachy Therapy procedure done, by Dr Ajay Bhatnagar. I went in on a monday, for an approximately 20 minute procedure called a Barrigel Rcctal Spacing. Then the net day, Tuesday, i went in for the Brachytherapy Procedure. It took approximately 30 minutes, under mild sedation. My wife drove me home after a few minutes, and i enjoyed a long nap. Working with Dr. Bhatnagar (Dr. B) has been wonderful. In 2002 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We were on surveillance at the time. A 2025 biopsy showed the cancer was getting aggressive. I was told that removal was my only option. An MD friend referred me to Dr. B for a second opinion. After reviewing my case, Dr. B found me to be eligible for focal brachytherapy. Highly recommend this practice and Dr.Ajay Bhatnager is the best. He makes you feel very comfortable. He through and communicates extremely well. Answers your questions and addresses concerns. His specialty Brachytherapy is the way to go and he is the one to use.
