I went to this center for assistance following severe malnutrition. At that time, I had little language for my medical symptoms, and had not been able to access appropriate medical care for severe malnutrition. Additionally, while I did not have language for this, I had very likely been through refeeding syndrome the month before, and sustained severe edema. I was put in this place as a newly twelve year old fresh out of the hospital.Two years later I am left with trauma from this place. I still have nightmares about returning and the force of being put into an uncomfortable place against your will alone. For half the time I was there I was alone and I was forced to eat meals I hated before my eating disorder began. The three dislikes rule is hideous and the trauma I was left with will never leave.
