Prospera Credit Union results from a 1934 grass roots effort of George Banta Publishing Company Employees of Menasha, WI. The goal was to provide financial support to each other through the formation of a financial cooperative called Banta Credit Union. It began by operating out of a converted proofreading booth in the Banta Company's facilities. Prospera is amazing. They managed to refi my car when I had questionable-at-best credit, they were flexible in payments, and as of last month, it's paid off!
