The property owners need to address the homeless encampment situation PROMPTLY. The encampment is literally on dry vegetation on a hillside that has caught fire in the past. Property owners have been made aware of the problem and have yet to resolve it. Property owners: I hope you realize that you can be held liable as a result of your neglect and decide to act in the best interest not only of your neighbors but yourself as well
Transients are permitted to camp on Prospect Ridge property around the complex hill in the dried out overgrown flammable grass st area creating an extreme fire hazard secondary to smoking in that area by transients. This is a fire safety issue for the entire San Rafael Hill to ignite and safety fire complaints are being ignored despite the recent California deadly fires, including Maui. I use the park and ride to go to work and I witnessed a transient smoking in one of those encampments. It was very scary and since then I do not park my car there. I hope they help this transient find a safe place to live to keep our San Rafael from fire safety hazards.
