Had to move practices because when I called I would either end up in a never ending queue, as people are describing here, or would be cut off completely. They never set up my repeat prescription despite me asking, which meant I had to rely on emergency prescriptions becasue I couldn't contact them in time. The worst GP practice ever avoid avoid avoid! The appointment system is shambolic. Having to call at 8:30am to be position 68 in the queue by the time you make it through the queue it’s almost midday and all appointments are gone & you get told sorry you will need to call back again at 8:30am tomorrow. It just goes on like that every day. Utter disgrace & the attitude of the receptionists is rude and dismissive. They talk down to you & think they are above you. The lack of service at this practice has to be illegal. How can they be allowed to stay open when they cut your phone whilst waiting in the queue, make you wait an hour and then tell you they have no more appointments and to call back the next day. You call back the next day and the same thing is repeated after another hour wait. The reception staff have no empathy and talk over you to themselves in the practice. The worst GP ever in Newcastle. The lack of service is very poor and this place needs to go under new management. I waited for an hour in the queue to book an appointment, then I was told there was no more appointments available. I was told to call them back the next day. Called at 8:30 to get appointment for an 8 year old, was number 28 in the queue. Got through to be told no appointments left because they were closing early but apparently couldnt book any future appointments either so call again at 8:30 tomorrow. Also tried online at 8:30 to get an econsult for myself. By the time I signed into NHS app it showed econsult not available try again tomorrow at 8:30.
