I've participated in several Phase 1 clinical trials at this facility over the past year, and I can confidently say this is one of the best research units I've experienced. From the recruiters to the medical staff, everyone is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about making participants feel comfortable. I went to Chula Vista on December 10th 2025 for a screening for a study and at the screening they drew blood gave your sample and they said because my A1C was too high I could not be accepted to the study they said we'll give you $75 for your time and trouble it's already been past the month and they have not honored their word I would not trust these people anymore I'm very disappointed

Signed up for study that paid via a Debit card ( standard practice ). When I tried to use that debit card at Amazon, it kept getting denied. I call the card, and they told me Amazon is one of many online vendors that don't accept their card. Why would Prosciento use a company that is barred from doing online shopping ? Try another clinical trial that will pay you with a legitimate debit card. Shady business practice.
