Honestly not a good experience. Staff isn’t helpful and will try to nickel and dime you on getting you to join a study. Once you’re part of the study they drag on and on and the compensation is often not worth it.
I've participated in several Phase 1 clinical trials at this facility over the past year, and I can confidently say this is one of the best research units I've experienced. From the recruiters to the medical staff, everyone is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about making participants feel comfortable. I went to Chula Vista on December 10th 2025 for a screening for a study and at the screening they drew blood gave your sample and they said because my A1C was too high I could not be accepted to the study they said we'll give you $75 for your time and trouble it's already been past the month and they have not honored their word I would not trust these people anymore I'm very disappointed
